It is designed to exercise your mind with scripture references and Greek and Hebrew word studies. It will exercise your soul as you examine your strengths and weaknesses. And it will ignite your spirit as you discover how much God loves you and has a plan for you.
How to Introduce this
Study into an Existing Small Group
This workbook is ideal for a small group of people who know each other. The longer a group has been learning and serving together the better suited you are for recognizing and encouraging the use of each other's gifts. Whether it is a couple of friends meeting in your home, your spouse and children or a church group God will honor your desire to know Him better.
How to Start a Small Group
Because the Body of Christ requires the use of all the parts working together to be truly effective this study takes on new richness by working through it with others committed to discovering God's will. That is really all you need to start a small group. You may find a few friends who are interested. You might go to your church leadership and volunteer to lead or co-lead a spiritual gifts study, asking them for recommendations on how to recruit a group. Your group could be as small as two, but much more than 12 will make it hard for each member to know all the others well. The end of the study is set up to help each other identify their gifts so bonding is a key part of the group experience.
Using the Workbook for Personal Study
Don't hesitate to go through the workbook on your own. Treat it as an opportunity for self-discovery and taking your relationship with God to a new level. Your Lord can't wait for you to spend quality time alone with Him.
