What are Spiritual Gifts?Spiritual gifts are God-given abilities that are used to help others, unify the church and bring glory to God. Why Do I Need to Know About Spiritual Gifts?Besides the urging of Paul, “Now concerning spiritual gifts … I do not want you to be ignorant …” I Corinthians 12:1, this information is completely applicable to everyday life. Frustrated in your career? Marriage need a lift? Can’t get through to your kids? Understanding spiritual gifts can shed light on many “problem areas” and help you find God’s solutions. How Do I Discover My Spiritual Gifts?Pray that God will reveal your gifts. Study and understand each of the gifts and you are likely to see how you are gifted. Study and understand yourself - examine your character and/or take an assessment test. What are Motivational Gifts?Gifts that define who you ARE in God. What are Ministry Gifts?Gifts that define how you are CALLED by Christ. What are Manifestation Gifts?Gifts that define how you are USED by the Holy Spirit. |

What are Spiritual Gifts?
Spiritual Gifts are God given abilities that edify the church and glorify God. "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men." I Cor. 12:4-6 NIV
This scripture sets the stage for understanding Spiritual Gifts in a simple, systematic way that allows you to discover your gifts. Yes, you do have a Spiritual Gift from God and He can't wait for you to know and use the precious gift He has given you.
Spiritual Gifts are not the same as Talents and Fruit of the Spirit. Talents are given to everyone by God, but can be lost if not used (Matt. 25:14-30). Fruit of the Spirit are not gifts, but the result of walking in the Spirit and overcoming the flesh (Gal. 5:22-26).
